First Moose ever
After 4.5 days of hunting a huge bull with nothing more than a long look at 150 yds, I adjusted my attitude to taking the first legal bull that comes into bow range. The morning of day 5 provided that opportunity, and I am proud to have taken this bull with my Z7 @ 30 yds (first shot). He came back to the call after the shot and I put an insurance arrow in him @ 40 yds. He expired 25 yds away from the site of the second shot. First shot covered him, but when the guide said he’s going to charge – I decided to let go another. Awesome hunt for my first animal taken with the new Z7.
