First kill with my Mathews Creed
Spotted this javelina with a group of about 15, early one morning. I stalked in and was within 40 yards of the herd. While I was ranging the herd, I heard a noise to my left. I took a quick peep and noticed a javelina in a burrow under a mesquite tree not 10 yards from me. I watched him for what had felt like years until finally he got up and walked out. I grunted and stopped him at around 20 yards. My bow was already drawn and my pin was set behind his white collar. I released and my arrow flew true. He went 20 yards and tumbled. I just got this bow and I have fallen in love with it. I plan to use it in an upcoming Arizona turkey, antelope, and mule deer hunt. I also plan to take it on a backcountry elk hunt to Colorado this September. Fortunate to have a piece of equipment that I can rely on!
