First Buck with a Bow.
I harvested my first archery buck with a Mathews Legacy, while hunting with my friend Chris on a windy afternoon with driving snow. We set up on a 30-acre corn lot with a 20 30 mph wind blowing from top to bottom, this was not going to be easy and I was hoping the deer would come close. Chris was at the bottom and I was on the left side. A 6-pointer was chasing a doe and an 8-pointer came in from upwind to join in on the action. I shot him at 30 yards compensating for the crosswind. He spun towards me and I hit him in front of his right shoulder, he broke the arrow and fell after a short run. I was ecstatic and glad I had a Mathews it met the challenge. PS Chris bought a Mathews LX for the 2003 season, I wonder why
