First Bow Kill!
It was approximately 5:30 a.m. and my husband and I were headed to our stand. As we approached our stand, my husband noticed hogs at the feeder. I asked him if we could sneak up on them, so we did. We creeped up within 15 yards of the hogs, and I drew back my Mathews LX but the hogs turned and I didnt have a good shot opportunity. I let off and waited a few more minutes for another good broadside shot. Finally, a hog turned perfectly and I drew back my LX and released. It was a perfect shot behind the shoulder. I shoot a Mathews LX with a 45 pound draw weight. This hog weighed 150 pounds and ran approximately 25 yards. Mathews LX rocks!!!
