Shoot Type: Moose
My partner and I were set up in a ground blind overlooking a natural mineral lick. We had been there about an hour calling elk with no success. We were talking about where to try next when we heard a bull moose grunting a long way away. I took my friends elk bugle and pulled off the reed, i gave two cow moose calls and waited. Five minutes later we heard the bull again raking a tree and grunting only now he was much closer. I cued my hands together and gave two more cow calls. He came in on a string, crashing through the woods and grunting all the way. He walked into the lick and gave me a broadside shot at 35 yards. My Z7 did the job complete pass through and he only went 35 yards, we saw him fall!! He measures fifty five and three quarter inch spread. Thanks Mathews for a GREAT bow!!
