It was the middle of October 02. My father and I were hunting a patch of woods he had scouted a couple days prior to the hunt. We picked out trees probably 75 yards apart to cover a point that was well used by deer. I was settled in for not even an hour when I heard that adrenaline boosting sound of hoof step. I turned around to see this nice little 7 point step out about 30 yards in a nice open area. With out hesitation I drew back my trusty little MQ-32 and let one fly. Much to my delight and all expectations, the arrow made its mark. At a little over 100 lbs sporting a scrubby 7 point rack this deer will always be a trophy, As will any deer taken with a bow.
Notch #5 in the grip ………. Thanx Mathews!
