I was out at our dairy late one afternoon just driving around a few of our pastures and decided to check one of the many hog wallows id found. I had silently stalked all the way down to the creek bed only to find nothing there, i jumped to the other side of the creek to give it a good luck and still nothing. I decided it was about time to leave and i hopped back across to leave and gave one final look back, that’s when i saw the massive 315 pound moving through the brush. I squatted down and drew back my bow i only gave the monster enough time to poke his head around the corner and made a 10 yard shot right under his eye. The pig barreled down the creek only making it 20 more yards. The arrow ended up going deep into the pigs neck “they don’t like neck shots” and that pretty much did the trick. It was definitely a scary experience to have 315 pounds of muscle and tusks just 10 yards away but my Mathews Drenalin did the trick!
