Argentinian Wild Boar

May 17, 2011 by David Giangano

I went to Argentina to hunt Wild Boar and Red Stag. The bow I successfully relied on for both hunts was my Mathews Switchback XT. In Argentina they hunt Wild Boar in the evening during very low light conditions which posed an added challenge for bow hunting. My setup also included Easton A/C/C Prohunter composite arrows tipped with Muzzy 3-Blade Fixed Broadheads. I took this magnificent boar at 45 Yds. quartering away and recovered him in less then 100 Yds. No matter what I hunt, when it’s time to take that shot of a lifetime my Mathews bow has never let me down.
