An answered prayer
To make long story short, my dad was in the hospital and not doing very well. My family and I had been with him all week until the doctor told us to go home for a few days. I told my wife I was going to go hunting for a while that Saturday afternoon so I could get my mind off of what was going on with my dad. When I got out of the truck I remember praying that if I could take a good buck this afternoon I knew it would help brighten my dads day. Well, look what happen this guy came by at 17 yards, I took the shot and he only went about 40 yards. My Mathews Switchback had put the arrow right behind the shoulder. Deer scored 146 3/4″, had a live weight of 240 lbs. The next morning I had a call from the hospital, it was my dad wanting to see the photos . Lol. Dad is 77 years old and doing fine now, thanks Mathews for making a bow that came thru at a time when it matter the most to bring one home!
