Alaskan Brown Bear
This is an Alaskan Brown bear that I shot on September 6, 2003 in Yakutat, Alaska. I used a G5 Montec 100g broadhead and a 70lb Mathews SQ2 with Goldtip arrows. The shot was 40 yards and the arrow easily passed through the bears chest cavity for a quick kill. I tracked the bear for only 70 yards.
The outfitter was Gary Gray of the Alsek River Lodge. The bear squared 84" and the skull measured 22 inches.
