I recently went to South Africa hunting with my Mathews.  It was one trip I will never forget!  I had no idea what would happen. My 1st day was different because my wife and mother-in-law joined me and my guide in the blind.  We saw many animals that 1st afternoon but no shooters. The next day we moved to different camp in search for a Kudu and Wildebeast. My wife and mother-in-law went to Kruegar National Park so I would not see them till my last day. That 1st morning at new camp was unbelievable– many Kudu and Eland at water hole and finally a shooter Kudu.  My Mathews found its mark the animal dropped 100 yrds from water hole.Things kept getting better.  The next day my guide wanted to try a different area for Wildebeast.  That next morning was a record day- my guide notice movement behind us.  It was a herd of Eland.  Eland are the biggest of all Antelope species in Africa weighing up to 1200lbs. Once the Elands started to comitt to water hole 1st younger ones and females then 2 huge males came in to about 28 yrds. My guide was amazed how fast and accurate this Mathews was.  My Mathews found its mark again this time a heart shot the 1200 lbs animal fell dead 75 yrds.  My Mathews would find its mark 5 more times with Impala, Gemsbuck, Blesbuck, Waterbuck, Warthog all in all Mathews was 7 for 7. Thanks Mathews– all of my 7 animals will make SCI record book. Sincerely, Charles Renneau
