Safari at Eden in Northeaster Namibia

“I just returned from a safari at Eden in Northeaster Namibia, my first chance to try out the new Reezen.  Wow!  I killed nine animals with nine arrows including this huge eland bull, estimated at 1500 pounds.  I had only practiced with the bow for a week, yet the draw was so smooth and the quiet delivery devastating.  Shooting #60, I got complete penetration on this beast.  When I saw the glint of orange Blazer vane disappear into its rib cage, I knew the big bull was mine.  I used a Trophy Ridge MeatSeeker expandable and the bull went just 80 yards.  The bow is so forgiving.  I didn't have to worry about an arm guard or hitting my sleeve and even a less-than-perfect release still hit the mark.  Congratulations on a great product.”

My Yearly Dilemma...

"I've got a serious problem with Mathews Bows... I've been shooting them a long time and each year, I fall in love with the current model, to the point that I actually dislike putting it aside while I get accustomed to the newest bow. Perfect 300

"After I got my Reezen set up and tuned, which was the easiest hunting bow I've ever set up, I was anxious to do some serious shooting with it. So Grant and I put up our Apex target bows and shot our Reezens for our weekly vegas score. We both shot perfect 300's. Considering my Reezen is set at 73 lbs, shooting a 430 grain arrow at 306 fps, I thought it was pretty cool to shoot a perfect 300 vegas round shooting almost 90 foot pounds of kinetic energy !!!  The Reezen is a hunting bow with true target bow accuracy, It's the most accurate, and fastest, hunting bow I've ever shot."

Perfect 300

"I've gotten use to shooting perfect scores with my Apex, but when I put away my Apex, shot my Reezen for league and shot a perfect 300  I was a little surprised! Both Dave Pierce and I shot our hunting bows and shot perfect 300's, both while shooting over 300 fps. It is the most forgiving hunting bow I've ever shot. By the way, I did shoot 2 more X's than Dave did!!"

Reezen Produces for Jon Eide

"I shot 3 scores with the Reezen 6.5 and produced 60x's last night!  I basically took this bow out of the box from the store, put a Mathews DownForce rest on the bow, put my CBE target sight with a 4x scope on and started sighting in to shoot a score.  I eyeballed the nock point and haven't even paper tuned the bow or tweaked it for more forgiveness.  The lowest score shot with the bow was a 57x which still floors me considering the speed and brace height on this bow.  Is the Reezen a target bow????  No.  Is it more forgiving than most people would realize and capable of shooting a perfect indoor score, ABSOLUTELY! Year after year I am floored by the technology of this industry and would have laughed myself silly 5 years ago if someone would have told me I would shoot a 60x with a short axle speed bow.  Who knew!"
