    Depends strictly on the body language of the deer. If he’s “Fat, Dumb & Happy” I would let him walk all the way in. :thumbup

    I agree but picked the last who would not wait until he’s behind a tree. If there is an obvious run that leads him past a tree No brainer.

    Of course it’s a no-brainer…..but that wasn’t there when I made my initial post ;) . It was added, later.

    I take the first “Good” shot the deer will give me.I try to draw when the deer passes behind brush or a tree or when it’s head is down or turned the other way.never underestimate thier peripheral vision [-X

    Wait until he hits the 20 yard marker…and or looking the other way or head behind a tree! Just depends on the situation.

    It’s all up to the deer. I’m “reading” him/her continuously. When he’s within my range, and he says, “Now!” … I bust him.
