I am being overrun with those little buggers. Anybody have any good recipes? I have been trapping and relocating them but I may need to cook some up…freezer is getting low on deer and brown trout.

We love to eat squirrel when I take the time to get them. My family laughs at me but I run the little bugger through the meat grinder and add some of your favorite chicken seasonings and fry the patties up in a skillet. Make a great semi white meat looking burger.

Just reporting back…I didn’t try any of the above suggestions yet but did make up some little squirrel smokies and they were awesome…a little dry but tastey. I had been overseas for a few days and just made up a small batch for the flight. YUM

i dreamed up a good way last deer season during rifle…………..while hungry on stand………….and watching the elusive little tormentors.

cook partially. strip meat. beat the hades out of pieces with tenderizer hammer.

here’s the good part. dip in DRAKE’s fish batter. drop in fry daddy just like bluegills.

a little sweet baby rays or mustard.
