If I was going to I would hope that I could “spine him” and he would drop in his tracks. You don’t want to be tracking some enraged sasquatch into the bush they are going to be p*ssed off! Haven’t any of you seen those beef jerky commercials on T.V.? That thing is going to want to whip some ***.

The first thing that would come to mind when I drew back would be, first and foremost, is he pope and young? Then where should I put the pin, because last thing I would want is to be the guy that made the bad shot on bigfoot. Also would a quartering away shot on a bigfoot be an ethical shot?
If the shot felt good I would wait the full 45 minutes before trailing him up. During that time I would be thinking would he look better on a full sneak or maybe better on an upright shoulder mount? Or where in the house could I put him if I went for a full mount? ;)

Dxtanimalstuff. Good points, some other ones might be is this mature specimen? You sure don’t want to harvest a potential trophy bigfoot before he has met his full genetic potential. Or does this bigfoot need to be culled from the herd because of inferior genetics? I would have to say you need to get a clear look at the feature that all trophy big foots are judged and measured for, their feet. Does he have good length? How about the width measurement? Also look at his stance, is it good? Hammertoes, flat feet and corns can all be deductions when scoring a big foot and could push your specimen right out of the record books depending if it is scored as a typical or non-typical. Also with it being reported that nail fungus is now infecting as many as 4-5 percent of bigfoots, some processors will not accept your meat if they were harvested in an infected zone, so if you want anything made you might have to do that yourself.

Nope. IF they are real it is too rare for me to kill it, and there would be nothing to gain from it except money.

You could always claim that the bigfoot was acting in a strange and or aggresive manner and you were just protecting you and your family. Just remember to yell “he’s coming right for us” when you shoot him, that way you can claim self defense. You could also shoot him and then drag him into your trailer I believe that this will also absolve you of any liability.
