After that first inning of mistakes and blunders by the Giants, I thought the Rangers would wipe them. Then, the Rangers started looking like rookies. Not a real great night for either starting pitcher. Lincecum’s blunder in chasing the runner down the third-base line was absolutely unbelievable.

I suspect both teams will get over those first-game jitters and start looking like pros in the next game.

Yeah I didn’t catch the game till the 6th and the Rangers were making mistakes like a little league team.. I have a feeling nerves got the best of them.

How are you living your Dash?

I suspect the Rangers will come out with a vengeance tonight, but who knows? They’ve looked pretty feeble in the first two games. Too many fielding errors and no hitting.

It could just be the Giant’s year… They’ve had good pitching and their strategy of keeping the bats hidden all year long until the World Series seems to be working nicely!

Some excellent pitching tonight by the Rangers, from starter through closer. I would like to see this series go the full seven. Ya gotta love baseball during the World Series. Apart from that…..not so much.

Only a fool would have thought that… The Rangers played a good game tonight. Game four, here we come!

Bumgarder was a beast! The thing I love about the Giants this years is besides their pitchers… these guys are just a bunch of journeyman ball players that work together to make a great team. No “Stars”…

Not only that, these guys can play. The fielding, especially by Sanchez(sp?), last night was a treat to watch. I’m still a little confused by Texas’ pitching strategy. I know you want to go with guys who “brought you to the dance,” but when it’s not working you have to make some timely adjustments. :smt69

Oh yeah, to paraphrase Jeremiah, GO SENS! :D

What’s wrong with you guys? I thought baseball was America’s game! I’m surprised there appears to be so little enthusiasm for this WS. Is it because of the two teams involved or because baseball has been in fan decline since the ’94 strike? Just curious.

I mean really….it’s pretty bad when a Canadian has to (a) start the thread AND (b) finish it. :p
