    Not referring to the speed of the forum but activity.  Seems really dead around here!

    So how about some people posting up and letting us know why maybe you don’t visit or post as much as you use to.

    How are you living your Dash?

    Brian,

      Was thinking the same thing.  Only a few posts every now and then, not like the old by a long shot.  You could always drop in to see something new or someone post on a thread almost everytime.   I just wander who is stopping by but not posting?

    Well, as far as it being slow around here, I would, indeed, refer to the speed of the forum. Still seems a bit sluggish to me. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not nearly as bad as the old “Snitz Software” based forum of many moons ago, but it’s still slower than the most recent incarnation. I’m sure that’s being worked on, as I’ve seen some features come back around, like putting your cursor on a topic heading and being able to read a large part of the original post so you can decide whether or not you want to go there.

    As far as your question goes, I think that it’s just early March, there’s not really much going on right now, this isn’t a fishing forum, and believe me the fishing forums are just buzzing right now, so there’s not a whole lot to talk about.

    It's not how far you shoot, but how close you get.

    I, too, have noticed the lack of activity on the forum. Not sure why, but I do have my suspicions.

    I think some of it has to do with new look of the new forum. If it was closer to the old look and some of the old features people would feel more at home with it maybe. I under stand that something had to be done but I think less drastic changes would have been better.

    I sense a “sit-in” or in this case a “log-out”.{#emotions_dlg.mathews_rolling_eyes}

    I try to drop in like I use to, but I’m still having some problems with the browsers on my phone.  Mozilla has been closing on me for some reason.  The Android browser still wont show the toolbar at the top of the reply / posting box.  My phone is still running Android 2.3.4 so I can’t use Google Crome.  I’ve been experimenting with rooting my phone and trying to load newer software patches, but it been to no avail.  At least I didn’t screw up my phone to bad.{#emotions_dlg.mathews_worried}

    Eric….you could try buying a computer! If you get a small laptop, you could still hold it up to your ear.

    I think it’s a combination of the change and the time of year.
