Like many things, people’s lives change and things they used to do no longer occupy the role in their life it used to.  Some of us dreaded “oldsters” still keep in touch on Facebook.  I don’t think the forum is dead.  It’s just going through a slow period.

I’ll be the first to agree that I like the old forum better. But I would never leave just because the newer platform isn’t as user friendly. I’m still appreciative that my favorite archery company provides this for all if us.

Do I miss the old regime? Of course I do and would love to see them back. But it is what it is and there are still many quality people here.

Vince an old timer did come back after 7 years i,ll give you a hint ,I use to use a LX

Leave for five or six years, and the entire place falls apart.

Like many others have said it is a pain to do simple things a more difficult way with the new forum.  However, once I retired a year and a half ago my life got way busier… haven’t spend nearly as much time on any online forum. Being the favorite/most fun granddad, working on lots of home projects, and reloading ammo seems to take up way more time than working full time – not that its a bad thing!
I check in on things once in a while and always come back for the deer contest though.  Just aren’t as many “characters” around here as there used to be to drive long discussion threads.  I’ll try to get back in to things here more often – as this was my online “home” for quite a while.
