    I have heard no one pick the Seahawks on ESPN. Therefore, I am going with the Hawks in a close one.

    I hope not. Not the Seahags.

    I’d love to see the third quarter end with 9 and 0 but it probably won’t happen.

    Denver should be disappointed and embarrassed

    Well, I guess from now on I’ll pick the best defense over the best offense.

    I think the predictions, looking back (of course), failed to factor in the appearances that each of the two SB teams had with good defenses this year.  Seattle had to play SF a couple of times, the Panthers.    Denver really didn’t.  That showed last night.

    Two excellent teams.  One was well-coached and prepared, and one was not.  I did not hear “Omaha” once.  I don’t think Denver expected that much noise and I’m pretty sure no one expected that kind of a blowout.  Big Congratulations to the Seahawks and especially to K J Wright - another Bulldog gets a ring!  {#emotions_dlg.mathews_applause}

    Those two teams played awful and they should be ashamed. Worst game ever — I thought I was watch a high school game. Half time show was below par too.

    After the first half, I switched to watching hockey.

    You know, it may have had a different ending if Manning had taken the time to have a little chat with his centre before the first play of the game. The dialogue could’ve gone something like this:

    “Look, before you snap the ball, I’m goin’ to stomp my leg four times. The first time is just to see if I still have circulation. The second time is to see if you can hear it. The third time is just because I like the beat and it’s kinda catchy. Snap on the fourth stomp. And, oh yeah, if you can’t see my head between your legs it’s probably because I’m standing real close to you. So don’t snap the ball 15 freakin’ yards!” Got it?

    L{#emotions_dlg.mathews_laughing} mbO when I saw that ball fly by his ear into the end zone. Come On this is the Super Bowl – not the first game of the season.

    I’d love to see the viewing stats on the game. I’m guessing that it had a HUGE # of ‘tune-outs’. We turned the game off at half-time, too, and played some games. Our game of Phase-10 had much more quality competition than anything I saw last night! {#emotions_dlg.mathews_tongue}

    Gives a whole new meaning to the term “quarterback sack.” {#emotions_dlg.mathews_shocked}
