I remember watching Montana, I even watched him play on the Cheifs, even there he was good.

Farrrv has ONE SB ring, and he wasn’t even the best player on his own team that year.

SB 32- 2 turnovers, Pack loses by a possession

    98- 2 INT’s, pack loses by a possession

2001- 6 (yeah, seriously, SIX) INT’s, Pack gets beat like a drum

    2002- 3 TO’s, Pack gets blown out

2003- Favre throws INT in overtime, Pack loses

2004- Favre throws 4 INT’s on pure muscle memory alone, Pack goes down in flames… again

2008- Favre sees a wide-open cornerback, can’t resist the urge to throw him a strike to lose the game (if only there were a pattern here)

Best of all-time? Shouldn’t even be mentioned in the conversation.[/quote:1mfcdw95]

2010- After several seasons of whining his way onto the Vkings’ roster, farrrrrve once again tricks an entire fanbase into thinking that he’s championship material (real brilliant, Minnesota; good thing you had never seen this guy in crunchtime before). Tied in the fourth quarter with possession, farrrrve and the Vikings are driving for the win in Saints territory when he decides to throw into the middle of the field. Across his body. To a Saint, of course. Saints win, farrrrrve hobbles home after throwing YET ANOTHER playoff game away.

The problem with the world is "stupidity" I'm not saying there should be the death penalty for stupidity, but why don't we just remove the safety labels from everything and let the problem sort itself? -unknown

Yep and “all time” isn’t even over yet! The funniest part is seeing the responses from guys in their 20s talking about greatest of all time. But then I’m sure they find responses from 50+ guys like me amusing as well. Personally I have no intention of voting in a poll that doesn’t include guys like Roman Gabriel, Ken Stabler, Tarkenton, and where Roger the Dodger’s name is butchered. Every one of these guys brought something great to the game and truth of the matter is as great as he was, Montana played in a new offensive scheme from a brilliant coach. With his average arm, he’d have a difficult time with the lightning quick defenses of today who understand that offense and how to stop it. But that’s just me…… [=}=]
