Shafted, you just dont get it do you? ](*,) We dont care what you ero-dweebs think of us . If I lived in a sissy, socialist country w/ no gun rights Id hate American rifle hunters too, its called jelousy.

What the heck do you even hunt there anyway? Marsupials and rouge livestock? As far as I can see you have no indiginous game to speak of. Try hunting wild whitetails or elk on public or any land here w/ a rifle, lets see how easy and unethical you think it is. :^O

As far a muzzleloaders go they do not shoot flat to 200 yds no matter what the commercials say, and the challege is that one shot you get.

Your are right, you dont want WWIII leave the fighting to us unethical yanks like you have for the past 60 years.

To Oklahomashooter ,Id advise you to make it voteing age before proclaiming what it takes to be a man.

I see what you saying And I really didn’t mean to seem like such a hard *** on the topic. I just have very stong views on bowhunting and it seems to most gun hunters that they think bowhunting is no challenge because were up in a tree. Well just because your in the tree doesn’t mean you dont have complications. And there are many challenges there and any bow hunter knows what im talking bout. And the statement i made was to the everyday rifle hunter who thinks that we are at an advantage and i think that until they try bowhunting they should be more respectful to the sport. But thank you for the advice. And your are right about bringing a new hunter into the sport when we have the chance. We need to spread this sport and support eachother and stop attacking our fellow hunters in the matter or the sport will be gone forever many people are fighting for us to lose our hunting rights and before that happens we need to stop it.

    NYRACKADDICT,

I can see by your poor spelling and obvious need of a geography lesson you’re not much of an adversary so I’ll leave you to your childish conspiracy theories. Sweet dreams, princess.

Its spelled BEHAVIOR, genious. Check your own spelling mate, before criticizing mine [-X You thought you were gonna come on this site and bash US hunters and get away w/ it? Wrong!!! If you wanted a fight Koala boy you you picked the right country.

Your first post proclaimed that to be a “REAL MAN” you must bowhunt only [-X Now you say we should stop attacking eachother 8-| A bit hypocritical huh? Glad to see youve come around so quickly in just one post.

I also see you editted your profile to show your age is now 20, before it said 17 ,nice try .

Just for a different perspective, in Australia if you hunt at all with a rifle then you’re a rifle hunter that owns a bow. It is absolutely taboo to fail with the bow then go pick up a rifle to get the job done. Failing is what makes bowhunting a challenge.

I believe a real bowhunter sells his firearms when he takes up archery. Its a natural progression to becoming a better hunter. We don’t have seasons here so I guess the choice is easy. I see a lot of American ‘bowhunting’ videos with rifle hunts in them and I feel very ripped off.

I do wonder if things would be different there if you had to nominate one weapon or the other each year, bow or rifle. I honestly think you would be better off for it.

I think there are so many people in America that everything is competetive and this does seem to put a lot of pressure on you to succeed. I have hunted around the world and often been in the company of Americans whom I got on with greatly but some of their ethics were very disappointing.

Personally, once I learned to focus on the process (ie the hunting) rather than the result (ie the kill) I found I was much more satisfied and happy.

Please don’t take this as criticism of your beautiful country and its people. I have been there and will be again. You are blessed with natural beauty and a variety of big game and even better, your women hunt![/quote:1nx103x6]

#1- If you focus on the process as you put it rather than the result. Then how could you consider it failure if you do not take an animal with the bow?

#2- Well I am sorry, but I do take some of your comments as an insult to my country. I am tired of individuals from other countries having complaints about everything Americans do, but then breaking their necks to get into our country. If everything is done so much better in Australia, Mexico or whatever part of this globe you hail from then stay there and quit trying to influence your ideas on everyone else.

#3-Yes I am a Bowhunter. And yes I hunt with a firearm from time to time. Not because I failed as you put it, but because I continue to enjoy hunting with a firearm also. Giving up the firearm is not the progression to becoming a better hunter, fact is what you hunt with has little to do with how good a hunter you may be or what your ethics consist of.[/quote:1nx103x6]

Shafted ,Bush bashing went out of style about 5 minutes ago, sorry you didnt get the memo. As far as the US influencing other countries, Id rather be accussed of trying to spread freedom and democracy than socialism.

Im glad your happy where you are. My advice would be to stay there and hunt whatever it is you hunt there. If you travel ,your bound to run into more of us “unethical” Americans.[/quote:1nx103x6]

    Freedom, democracy and cheaper oil!

[/quote:1nx103x6] Whats wrong w/ oil? I doubt you travel the world hopping around on a kangaroos back, hypocrite!

Your right ,this was a bowhunting only thread till you decided to give your little opinion of our country, next time save your opinions for an austrailian bow companies talk forum… oh yeah there are none, sorry.

I personally would never travel outside the borders of the USA but hows this for a deal ,you limeys keep your mouths shut and mabye well keep bailing your arses out like we have since WWII.[/quote:1nx103x6]

I would love to hunt bow only but where I live when everybody else starts shooting at every thing that walks your at a big disadvantage because the deer are so skittish. During muzzleloading and rifle im still in a tree, there are just too many advantages not to be.

Bow hunting is “MY TIME”….Gun hunting is my “Family Time” … [=}=]

My brothers are into hunting but they arent die hard bowhunters. As much as I love bowhunting, I also enjoy the gun season for the time we all get to spend together. It is a great chance to sit around the fire and swap stories. I know its not as challenging and rewarding, but there is something nostalgic about the modern gun season. It makes for great memories and even better pics when the family is goofing off around camp.[/quote:w1tt5k61]

Same here guys …. My brother Bow hunts a little and my dad used to a lot, but doesn’t anymore …….. But when firearm season rolls around, we all get together ….. thats if we were lucky enuf to get tags
