Yeah there is still too much white and not enough contrast, one of the chief complaints during testing. It feels rather “sterile” and uninviting in my book. I know I don’t check in as much as I use to, just not much activity and this new format is unlike any forum I’ve either been or am a member of. The functionality is just awkward, again something that was addressed many times during testing by all the testers.
Having been part of the testing team I’ve tried to stay positive this whole time but seeing so many of my friends here leave bothers me. I hope the powers that be have been watching and listening to the comments and frustrations, this forum has lost way too many good and valuable members!

I have to agreed with sticks on this. We’ve lost way to many good people and stand to loose many more if something doesn’t change. I’ve learned a bunch here and stop in every day to see what’s going on. I don’t post much but I’m here. I’ve had a hard staying each time they tried to change but it was like family here. We’ve lost to many members already.

Yep, sticks (Brian) summed it up nicely. I really do think the forum is dying a slow death and that will be a great shame. Quite apart from the friendship aspect of regular members, the new forum will lose much of its marketing value to Mathews if those who tune in only do so once in awhile. When you think of some of the very knowledgeable members who have either left or, at best, log on very infrequently, it’s difficult to see why any newbie would feel the urge to join and learn/contribute on a regular basis. The more “impersonal” the forum becomes, the less compelling it is to old and new members alike. And that folks, is all she wrote.

I do not mind the white background, but the font is all wrong. It needs to go up two sizes and be arial.
I seen other web sights where you could change the background color or pattern maybe they could do that here.

yeah you are talking about skins. More things need to happen besides just a skin change.

Default Font color should be black instead of this grey that is the default color, and you should be able to choose text and font!

I’m not a fan of it either, but the truth is, if you don’t change with it, ultimately you loose. I actually took the time time figure out how to post a couple of pics for someone yesterday. (successfully) Hopefully our brothers (and sisters) will come back. I like hearing from everyone, especially our resident of Grand Junction. I’ve learned from all, especially him. It’s gotten so bad though, that I had to take a look at something other than “general archery” and “hunting” to fuel my fire. Take care!

I think it was said before, but this was a major thing for us when we were trying to break the forum in test mode… They put the gutters on the sides which helped some… I don’t know if it is better or worse, but it is different.
