Been shooting one for 7 maybe 8 years. Seems I always piddle with a new one in the summer, but somehow the old ugly cookie always ends up back on my bow well before season opens.

The biscuit will chew up feathers very quickly, and also while it does work with finger shooting, it’s not the best for it as the bristles will resist paradox slightly. With a high enough FOC it will become a moot point.

The Biscuit is still (IMO) the ultimate hunting rest. It’s almost as stupid proof as you can get, and that’s a wonderful thing.

I shot feather for years with the whisker biscuit, shot them very well, it does tend to fray the ends after a while which made them a little more noisy in flight, but i fletch my own so it didn’t bother me. I have since switched to blazers just more maintenance free.

Well maybe that’s a good thing because I bought 50 right wing feathers on accident so I’ll just use ‘em up that way and then buy vanes and refletch them

I wouldn’t use one [-( … like L.O.S.T. Arrow said, you’ll only get blood all over your arrows, bow, best camo clothes, and dull your skinning knife.

Next, you’ll runout of freezer space and have to buy a bigger one. Then you’ll need a bigger and better grinder and smoker.

    … just ain’t worth it. :p

    :jk

All kidding aside, it is a very accurate rest when the correct size biscuit is used and setup properly. L.O.S.T. Arrow can answer any of your questions and help troubleshoot any problems you might have.
