    Wow………..this was dug up……..

And even scarier…..or sad…..I’m still using the same release :^O #-o I’ve tried different ones, but I love the rotating head of the Tru-fire releases and how smooth it is, not to mention the simplicity of “you depress the trigger, the jaws open, you let it off, the jaws close”.

I’ve been looking at others and may try some, but I’ve had Stanislawski, Carter, Tru-Ball, and always have gone back to the Tru-Fire release [=}=]

Scott’s Sabertooth – Thin jaw, forward-set trigger, overall design allows me to pull 1/2″ longer draw comfortably on my bow.

    X2!! :thumbup :thumbup

Scott Sabertooth. Would love to try a Carter something or other. No complaints with Scott though.

I use a tru-ball beast 2. The reason I like it is because it is a hook release and has a very smooth trigger with no play in it. Its so nice to be able to hook the string and pull back.

Carter, Just Cuz Thumb release. It fits my small hands nicely. I like that I can lock it on my d-loop. Travel adjustment on trigger. Rotating thumb barrel to fit to you hand.

Used a Scott Sabertooth the last few years but switched to a Carter RX2 last year.

Like em both but prefer the RX2. Trigger adjustment is great and it’s quicker to hook up to the loop.

I shoot a Carter Quckie II+. Very adjustable, precision made, open jaw easy hookup in low light, very solid crisp trigger. A little more expensive, but well worth it!! :thumbup

I really like the Scott mongoose release, mine has an adjustable strap that the trigger mechanism is on, and a buckle. The trigger is like this, barley touch it and it slings the arrow. by the way, this post is from 2006. it is an old post.

My Christmas present to myself was a Stan Shootoff thumb style release. Just learniing how to use it and set it up. But so far it is winning out over my others.

Carter two-shot. Crisp trigger and always a clean release. The buckle strap is very well made also.
