A7 or C4?? And why?….. I narrowed down my January bow purchase, not wasting money this close to the holidays on myself. Just wondered what others thought of the two, since I tend to miss things when I try to compare.
Joined: 2/22/2005I liked my C3 over the Apex..Never shot the 7 and haven’t heard anything on the 4 yet …
But on past experiences..I would go with the 4

I have been searching for something new and even looking at Hoyts but the time is here. I am going to get the Apex 7 to shoot target with for the upcoming 3-D season. The bow will be set up as a target bow but could pull double duty as a hunting bow as I enjoy shooting the bowhunter class anyway.

Joined: 11/16/2004The A7 looks better balanced to me which if I am right will make it hold steadier. Which probably why the C4 has a higher stab mount.
Having only shot an Apex and not an A7 I found this style of cam more positive at full draw. Also the A7 cam is desingned for level nock travel the Maxcam was not.
