I would like to tell all these so called hunters that made there money hunting on either private property or there own property to hunt on public land an let’s see you go get a 125 class or better buck. all those shows make me sick! just my opinion.

Anything with Fred Eichler or Stan Potts. But I don’t watch too many anymore either. I think the tv shows are one of the reasons that Kansas supplies an unlimited supply of nr tags. As Kansas bought into the commercialization of hunting, the quality has dwindled drastically. I just don’t buy in like I used to. Kansas hunting as a whole has declined. Poor pheasant hunting, no quail, poor deer quality, and a shifting flight pattern for ducks has left a poor taste in my mouth. I really miss 70’s when hunting was good and we had only 3 channels.

I always hear that, that the 70’s and 80’s were great times to be deer hunters. My dad, my uncles and my grandpa all talk about how they used to see twenty deer a day on opening day where we lived in Wisconsin, my uncle told me a couple of weeks ago he got a buck every year on opening day for 12 years in a row back in the day (he’s 53). Now I try to follow the advice and tips of everything on deer hunting I see and what do I see, birds, squirrels, occasionally turkeys or a stray cat, my deer hunting success in 8 years is 38% percent, pretty pitiful. I saw three does together in a group this year while gun hunting but I didn’t have a doe tag #-o , they were sold out, that was the most deer I saw in one day ever while hunting and I couldn’t even shoot them. I wonder what was different back then?

The only hunting videos I watch are Team Fitzgerald, Keepin’ it Real. I subscribe to their YouTube videos and I like them because I guess I think they’re a lot like me and IMO they give really good advice.

The SCI shows that are filmed on high fenced sanctuaries are disgusting.
Three people in a box blinds, hunting for 30 minutes and shooting genetic 250″ freaks.
Never telling the audience that they are hunting in a zoo, and I’m sure the “HUNTERS” are paying $10K per deer.
They lie to people and I don’t want to be grouped with them.

I would rather see real people shoot spikes and does.

I may get some flack about this post, but it’s honestly the way I feel[/quote:1yayx35b]

I like to watch alot of different shows. I like it when they take a doe or small buck with a good shot. Don’t like seeing 150″ bucks taken with a spine hit or gut/liver hit followed by a “Smoked ‘Em” and high fives :thumbdown High fence hunts get the channel switched or the off button pushed. Just not the kinda hunting I want to watch.

My favorite show is Mathews Dominant Bucks and Midwest Whitetail. As far as my all time favorite show is Lone Wolf’s Whitetail Addictions I wish that show was still on.
