Heartland Bowhunter, hands down what I think is the best [=}=]

I also watch the other predominant “bow only” programs.

Sure some of them are horrible and they have some real clowns on there, but its better than watching the news or some lame reality tv show. FWIW, I dont care who got robbed, who’s preggo, OR what some politician has to say :thumbup

greg miller has always been a great info giver and IN PURSUIT has always been my favorite. this ones not a mathews sponsored show but, RED ARROW is always a good one and a little humor to go along with it.

I don’t really know the names of all the shows but I like to watch the personalities… Greg Miller is probably my favorite… I like Fred Eichler, Ted Nugent, and I enjoy watching most of the lady bowhunters just because it’s something a little different… Nicole Jones Reeves and Julie Kreuter are at the top of that list.

The SCI shows that are filmed on high fenced sanctuaries are disgusting.
Three people in a box blinds, hunting for 30 minutes and shooting genetic 250″ freaks.
Never telling the audience that they are hunting in a zoo, and I’m sure the “HUNTERS” are paying $10K per deer.
They lie to people and I don’t want to be grouped with them.

I would rather see real people shoot spikes and does.

I may get some flack about this post, but it’s honestly the way I feel

Anything with Fred Eichler or Stan Potts. But I don’t watch too many anymore either. I think the tv shows are one of the reasons that Kansas supplies an unlimited supply of nr tags. As Kansas bought into the commercialization of hunting, the quality has dwindled drastically. I just don’t buy in like I used to. Kansas hunting as a whole has declined. Poor pheasant hunting, no quail, poor deer quality, and a shifting flight pattern for ducks has left a poor taste in my mouth. I really miss 70′s when hunting was good and we had only 3 channels.

    -Heartland Bowhunter

-Midwest Whitetail (their shows are presented very well, but dont care too much that real estate is the motivation for the show)

-I also like shows with David Blanton, I just like that guy.

-I also like Relentless Pursuit, Tims a nut and very entertaining to watch.

-Legends of the Fall, ive know Chris Ward and Eric Hale since we were kids.

-There are many others that I DVR and watch, just because I’m a whitetail nut, and some that I simply can not stand to watch. It is what it is.

-I like some of my reality shows too! I love Duck Dynasty and Moonshiners. Moonshiners is filmed right here in my neck of the woods. My Great Gandfather used to pop me up on his knee when I was a lil feller and tell me of his moonshining days. He was a regular ol Popcorn Sutton, spent his fair share of weekends in county jail too. Would do his time on weekends and work during the week. :thumbup

Heartland bowhunter. i’d like to hunt with these guys. they just seem nice and gracious for the animals they take..no BOOYAH! or SMOKED EM,,(or worse), Shanked em!

    and

Meat Eater. again. i would love to hunt with Steven Rinella. he is all grassroots with his approach. he eats anything, and hikes like a billy goat. he is also very gracious for the food the animal provides.

if i had to teach a kid to hunt, i would hope they become more like these guys..less like..”Shanked it..Rage in the Cage!”

IMHO, Fear No Evil..is a weird show name. what is evil?

No Flack here I think most agree that the shows that are based inside a Fun Park suck there’s no education in hunting fenced deer. Sure some of our favorite hunters and crews hunt on high fence outfitted property. To me thats OK they’ve paid there dues. We’ve watch them get older and most of them deserve an “easy hunt”. Beside we pay for most of our favorite hunter to go to some of these Outfitters. So I guess really I just contradicted myself maybe I’ll just go shut up now :^O :^O
