I am looking at some new strings for my XT and my serving around my cams are seperating, so instead of fixing them I am just going to replace them!!

This is the same reply I gave to your question on AT.

“Dannyw: I replaced my cuda with a set of Vapor Trail cables/strings and couldn’t be happier. I have put 100s if not 1000s of shots through my bow and my peep is still rock solid centered. Great service and speedy delivery. I think they are worth checking out.”

    Good luck in your search.

you guys saying winners choice have obviously not used winners choice before. With all the sets i have used of theirs, every bow lost weight off of its max peak.
I believe a few others here have experience the same thing.
Alan, wasn’t you one of them?

I had a Great experience with WC. Great string and great people as well. I would use them again in a heart beat.

I lost poundage. My 70 pound Outback is maxed at 67 pounds. With the original strings it maxed out at 73. I can’t explain why, but I also gained about 5fps. Really weird, I thought. That being said, the quality seems good. If you could get 06 Cudas with WC serving around the cams, that would be perfect. :thumbup

I used Winners Choice and IMHO they make a great string. No peep rotation, and the cable and string “holds” the tune better.
As for the “Lost Poundage” issue, I have put 3 sets of strings on my SB’s and I can set the poundage with no problem. The yoke cable controls your poundage.
If I buy a string, it would be WC. The downside is their price!
I just bought a string jig and stretcher, I make my own strings and cable out of 452x, I get a great string and cable and the materials(top of the line) to make both cost less than $8.00!
As for the cost of the jig, It will pay for itself in 2-3 years(4 bows replacing one string per year) WC string and cable for a SB at $90.00 to $100.00.The string jig was 300.00 plus shipping.
As for the stock strings, I did not like them on the 05 SB,or the XT. Both peeps rotated and moved.
    Just my 2 cents [=}=]

You cant go wrong with VT’s or Buck Nasty’s. I can tell you 1 thing the Buck Nasty’s dont stretch no peep rotation what so ever. [=}=]
