Usually Mid-6am M-F MID-NOON every other weekend. Except when covering vacations then I work Mid-8 or 9 or 10 or Noon. And I also get stuck covering the weekend if the other guy is also on the first half of the day. It sucks sometimes but it gives me the chance to spend time at home with my son and the ability to hunt either morning or afternoon

four on and four off 12 hour shifts with one month of day shift 7-7:30 and then one month of night shift 7-7:30. Working four 12 hr shifts in a row is old by the last day but the four days in a row being off is super especially during hunting season

I work what we called a Compressed Shift schedule. 6:30pm to 6:30 am, on a two week rotation. First week I work Sun, Wed, Thur. Second week I work Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat. Lots of time off and OT for the last 4 hours of every day, so I live with it.

As a high school teacher it was a rare day I was not into work after 6:30 am and I often didn’t get home until 6 or 7 pm. As a Asst Principal I expect the hours might be a touch longer!
