Location: AlbertaBack when I shot the circuit on our biggest shoot I shot a perfect score…dont remember what the score was but for example 300 out of 300…problem was so did a good friend of mine…
they made us have a shoot off …3 arrows at random deer closest to the X…he punched out the center of the X and they only way to tie was to hood him….didnt do it and came in second
But it was all in fun…after the shoot which was on the river valley which spans a mile acrosss in some area we shot a fun shoot at a turkey set up across a coulee..for you easterners ..ravin/valley
it was half way down the other side…
from bow to target was about 300 yards…but downhill…I hit the turkey on my third and won the pool
good ole days
Joined: 11/9/2005I shoot 270-high 280 most times, only using a hunting set up i shoot in the bowhunter open class,i like shooting my hunting bow but this year i’m setting up a dedicated 3-d rig so i keep one bow set up for each thing, one for hunting one for 3-d.
Joined: 2/13/2012i usually shoot in the 220’s in hunter class for now. i was shooting another brand and am in all honesty fairly new to the 3d sport, my first shoot with a bear bow i shot a 125 then got a pse mojo and began averaging 190’s now my arrows touch nearly everytime with my conquest 4(it belonged to terry bridenbaugh jr) i went to school with him. i know my scores will improve with the conquest the smoothness and draw are super smooth compared to other bows ive shot. the first time i shot the conquest i nearly robin hooded my first two shots out of it, so i am looking forward to some great scores this year. the key to great scores is consistency and quality practice with top of the line gear.
Joined: 2/27/2010I shot 10 up yesterday (20 targets) in Hunter class and still lost by 2?

Joined: 2/5/2012Around here we only get to shoot 20-25 targets for 3D. I stay between a 262 and a 270 on 25 targets. But I mainly shoot field archery. I did shoot my PB last weekend, a 272 on 25 targets.
Joined: 2/5/2012this year i have shot up every shoot. between 12 and 26 up. I won this weekend. So that make me 4 for 4 this year. not bad for a spot shooter.Unless I am shooting with some friends for lunch and soda, I never keep score, and if I am shooing for that stuff, they must keep the score. I one time thought the score keeper, (my grand son) cheeted, but then I was going to buy the lunch anyhow.Ron /////// Archery and Fly fishingI normally shoot 240 to 270 from the compound stakes (Master Trad) … with my recurve.
Joined: 10/23/2005UNLIMITED 280-294 this year. 6 shoots
Joined: 6/21/2007Wildlife club near where I live has 2 benefit shoots each year, only ones I shoot in. 30 targets 18-55 yards. I shoot hunter class and last year shot 260 something in the first and 285 in the 2nd.
My lil buddy boomer shot the youth class with me last year. They shoot the traditional stakes, longest shot was about 28 yards, and that lil bugger shot 215 at 9 years old. Finished 3rd out of 18 in the 14U age class.
I really enjoy it, and wish I had the time to do it more often. Maybe when my kids are out of the house……but I’m sure not wishing my time with them away. Maybe as they get a lil older they will want to shoot some together also!
Location: OhioI’m always in the 290’s with the occasional 300. 280’s on a bad day. And I’m usually the low man on the totem pole with those scores.Always looking for my next Booner!
I’d be happy to hit that bag with my recurve at 50 yards!!!Always looking for my next Booner!
