I use 100 grain broad heads for deer. I really don;t know why that is just what I started with oh so many years ago and I never bothered to change it.

I’m a big fan if shooting heavy arrows, so I use 125’s. Passthroughs aren’t hard to get nowdays, but I’ve had some that probably shouldnt have been. Like this year, through both shoulders @ 40 yds on a deer. We also hunt elk at the same time of year, as well as bear, so I tend to go a little heavier.

100 grain Spitfires, but it does depend on each individuals setup. see what your local pro-shop suggests for you set-up. Happy hunting!

Why not let FOC decide what weight broadhead would be best ? If I keep FOC around 8-10% broadheads fly good !
