    Dave,

The times I get to se your show, without the wife getting mad, I have loved every episode.  I would agree that a Tech Tip corner should be added, like paper tuning, broad head tuning, alignments and such.   Might even have a place people could submit questions, for that spot.  I would love to see you hunt more of the states and Canada as with the economy not everyone can get out to Africa or other exotic places.  Don’t get me wrong, those hunts are awesome to watch and to get a glimpse of that area and the animals thru your eyes is something awesome.  I would even try doing something geared towards the beginner in Archery hunting as well.  How about showcasing a dealer in the area where you are hunting as well.

Would love to see you on a Moose archery hunt!!!  Maine, Alaska or Canada!!!!!

Let me know when you are in Honolulu as there are a couple forum members here we could get together before you head to the other island.

I’d like to see someone take a brand new bow and set it up, tune it and then take it out and shoot an animal with it just like we all do. Showing the struggles with tuning and the fixes and the end result the trophy!

    Dave,

What say you to a genuine black-tailed deer hunt here in Oregon; mix it up in the ferns and firs of Western Oregon. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen such an episode on Mathews TV. Correct me if I’m wrong.

You could also stop by The Bow Rack in Springfield (very reputable Mathews retailer) and do an archery tech segment while you’re out here. Just something to ruminate on.

Aren’t you in Colbran or Mesa? I think you are only a 45 minute drive from me. Why don’t you schedule a weekend to cover all the ins and outs of bow setup, tuning, shooting techniques, form, bowhunting situations, etc.?

PASWAMPER had setup a time around the first of May about 4 months ago to do the same thing, but my old computer’s power supply died, and now I don’t have his PMs, and with the new forum, I can’t find him, and he hasn’t confirmed.

It’d be great if PASWAMPER and you could get together for a weekend, although it cuts into Turkey Time.

To me, the world of hunting television has gotten lost in the endless opportunities all around the world.  While I would love to visit all of these exotic destinations one day, my favorite shows are always the ones “close to home.”  Whitetails in the rut, elk bugeling their heads off in the midwest, western mule deer hunts in the snow.  Of all the places and game to hunt all around the world, the game and destinations that mean the most to me are the ones that we all grew up on.

Thats my suggestion.  Mathews TV is by far the best produced show on TV, so short of doing more of the classic hunts don’t change a thing.

I would love see the show go to different 3D ranges around the US and Canada, maybe pick a local or two to join in on a round through the course.

More 3D practice during the off season, well let me say between big game seasons, for many of us there is no thing as off season. Some small game hunts and definitely hunts on wma’s and suburban woodlots. More and more of the bowhunters I run into hunt small woodlots well within 50 miles from their homes. Kinda hard to swing the 1000+ acre leases with this economy. Nothing wrong with the dream hunts in exotic locations they give us something to reach for.

Wow, thanks for all the kind words. I promise Mathews TV will never cut corners on the editing and production. My goal is to have every viewer learn something and maybe even smile once or twice during each episode.

Tact….good point. No, you’re never seen a black tailed deer hunt on Mathews TV, but I’ve been. Twice! I dare say that the coues and the black tail are the most “alert” sub species of deer. Hard to fool with a bow.

    Best to all,

    DW

I would like to see a tech insert of some sort.. pse’s show has a tech fact add in, but the guy always seems to beat around the bush and not give a good answer. I think things not really spoken about much should be covered.. like properly broadhead tuning a bow, setting up a drop away rest..things like that. Either way i enjoy both this show and the mathews dominant bucks show. Good shows i must say.

Like to see on the show….hard one for sure as I like it already as it is.
I do like the idea of a “tech corner”. Showing a tech’s advise on some of the issues with a bow and issues surrounding them and some accessories.
A hunt I would like to see….anything not out of our continent. Seriously, elephants or such? I will never hunt them. So, I like animal hunts more in my wheel house. I dont know if I care who is hunting with Dave, just so the hunt is informative which he does a good job of now. So, again, I like adding a tech corner with some advise and instruction on a certain issue or component problem that comes up with our equipment.
