Have used Gold Tips for 2 years, but I also heard some rich guy bought the company and moved it south of the border. The bow shop I go to said their having a harder time getting Gold Tip stuff now and thinks the quality and customer service has suffered. I just switched to Carbon Express Maxima Hunters, but haven’t even shot them yet.

I to have heard the same thing.I have talked to many dealers and over 50% say they will no longer carry the gold tip line. ](*,) So i am in the market for a new shaft.I did a poll on archery talk also and the polls and comments have over welmingly shown that the easton line is more popular but I am still open. :hugs

PSE Radial X Weave Predator 300’s…. :thumbup

Same here. I think these are some of the toughest shafts out there. If you haven’t tried the Radial X-Weaves, you don’t know what you’re missing.

I fail to understand why the location of their factory is so important. As economic policy, I would like to see some strong examples where protectionism was a successful strategy. I can give you several examples where it failed.

Right now I’m shooting GT PRo 5575’s. But I’ll always shoot what I think is either the best arrow or the best value for my purposes. Don’t drive yourself crazy over stuff that doesn’t matter. There’s plenty of important stuff to go around.

    shoot well :thumbup

Gold Tip Pro Hunters. Very straight, consistent spine and tough.
If I see quality has suffered since the south of the border move
    that’s when I’ll switch.
