I have shot gold tip arrows in the past but have learned that they moved thier operation to mexico. The same thing happened to a company I used to work for and the Quality suffered! So I am planning on changing and wanted to see what seemed to be the best shaft on this fourm.

I have always liked Carbon Express, but I might change sometime next year. [=}=]

Beman Hunter 400′s. They fly great from my bow and get the job done. While I’ve considered other arrows in the end I have found no compelling reason to make a switch. However, I do plan to purchase some Beman Hunter Elites.

Currently I am using the Gold Tip 35/55 which is underspined for a 60 Lb. bow, but produces a consistent bullet tear.
I have also used the GT Ultralight 400, and Carbon Tech Cheetah 400.
As you can see, I like light arrows, but I base my arrow, tip, and fletching selection on tuning.

I use ACC 3-39 with my XT, CE with my LX, CE with my SB and will use CE max hunter with the Drenalin or what ever works the best. I also use Cheeth 400 by Carbon Tech for 3-D shooting with my SB and will try them with my A7 when it gets built.
