I just wondered what everyone else uses. I’ve always used a velcro Tru Ball, but just ordered one with a buckle strap. I had my biggest buck ever spook at 9 yards and I 95% sure he heard the velcro on the release strap. :thumbdown

    I use velcro Only!!!!
I tried a buckle but I couldent get it to fit “just right” like you can with velcro. The buckle is quieter, but I hated it!!!!

What are you guys doing to spook deer with the velcro???? I put mine on before I step into the woods and it’s completely silent from there. When you see a deer don’t rip the velcro strap off, just draw back and aim if it’s a shooter. :thumbup

Velcro Copperhead, so comfortable I forget it’s on [=}=]

I use the Scott Little Goose with a buckle. The buckles just seem to be more consistent as far as fit.

When my Tru-fire was new, the leather buckle strap would make little creaking noises when I drew the bow. Once the leather got stretched, which didn’t take too may practice shots, it’s totally silent.

My last release had a nylon strap. Never used a release with velcro on it. I try to avoid velcro at all costs on my hunting gear. About the only velcro I have is the adjuster strap on the back of my cap. Oh, and the flap on my binocular case, but I just open that real slowly while it’s still in my pack in the morning.
