Personally, I can’t stand the guy, and am surprised that Mathews chose to go that route. Not really a good fit. I mean, what are Mathews’ core values? Integrity, Innovation, and Impact? How does Ted Nugent fit in with integrity?

Chose to go “what” route? The route that What does “that ” route even mean? Ted Nugent loves archery and bowhunting just like you or I ,  and is an advocate for our rights as hunters and conservationist.

Ted speaks his mind and stands up to anyone that looks down at hunting or gun ownership.    I think Mathews now has a guy that will  not censor his opinion for fear of offending the opposition.

To each their own…..there are TV faces that I dont care too much for either.  Not exactly a huge nuge hunting show fan myself, but the man does speak his mind and stands up for what he believes in.  There are no TV faces that I agree with 100% on every front, but man some of the stuff he believes, just makes perfect sense to me.  Probably, in my opinion, he and ol Fred Eichler more closely resemble the majority of North American hunters than any other TV show.  We all dream of big bucks, and killing a couple of 160+ every year, but for the most of us, it just aint gonna happen that way.  I love big antlers, and relative to where I hunt I will not shoot anything short of a mature buck (once again, my mature may be different that many others). But I’m sure not going to spend a season NOT doing what I REALLY love to do, and thats poking an arrow through whitetails.  I love to shoot does, I love to eat venison, I love the challenge of the hunt, and in many cases when the freezer is full and I dont need to shoot another, I love the feeling of getting close and the satisfaction of knowing I beat the animal on its turf without taking its life.  I love being in the outdoors, and often go knowing good and well I have no intent to loose an arrow.  If you do what he does, to continue to do what he does, there are aspects of it that are business, and business choices must be made.  I dont think its a bad move on either parties front.  Welcome to “OUR” dark side Uncle Ted!
