    Dear Trent,
The best thing that can ever happen to you is to get out of Cleveland.
    Sincerely, The Baltimore Ravens

How do you guys think the move to Indy will affect his fantasy football potential?  I think it will be a little slow until he learns the offense and then it should be ALOT better.  He won’t face nearly as man 9 man fronts as he did in Cleveland… Defenses have to respect Andrew Luck more than Brandon Weeden.

Richardson was my 2nd pick in the draft this year in fantasy… Not sure if he will play this week but I guess I could give up a week for a long term positive.

OK, I see that this hasn’t been replied to in a while. I just discovered the post myself. Seems old Trent is doing yeoman’s work for the Colts, at a sub 3 yards per carry average! Yowzah! Here’s some news from a little closer to home. Cleveland sports radio was reporting that old Trent seemed to be a bit of a flake at Browns camp. Insisted on wearing his earphones all over, including during meeting, and not paying attention to a doggone thing the coaches had to say. I guess when you play for “Bama, you are God’s gift to football.

Richardson has not delivered any measurable difference to the Colts that I can see. Donald Brown seems to be giver a much better performance than Trent. Maybe as he settles in that will change, but time will tell. As a franchise, I don’t think the Colts put up with undisciplined prima-donnas, so if what you say is true, I’m guessing they’ll work to quash that pretty quickly.

He has been extremely disappointing as a fantasy player this year… He doesn’t even get the garbage 4th quarter carries when his team is up… Not at all what I envisioned… This is why I absolutely hate autopick fantasy drafts.. I would NEVER have drafted this guy in a live draft.

On another fantasy note:  Autopick draft gave me both Hakeem Nicks and Victor Cruz… I would not have been opposed to a NYG receiver but I never draft 2 receivers from the same team… EVER… and they haven’t done so well this year for me.

Cleveland Sports Radio huh?  I bet that show is loaded with fascinating in depth discussion.

As a matter of fact, it is! And, from a lot closer to the source than you are! One of the big questions being asked around here just prior to the trade was, “What if Trent Richardson just isn’t as good as a lot of people thought he was!” Seems to be the case so far! First of all, risking the 3rd pick in the first round on a running back in the modern NFL seems like folly to me, I don’t care where they played their college ball. Secondly, all the local T Rich fans were proclaiming how he would blossom in a situation with a competent QB, admittedly a situation of which we have no knowledge, who would take the pressure (what pressure?) off him. So far, that doesn’t appear to be in the cards. we’ll see what happens from here on out.

It's not how far you shoot, but how close you get.
