    I was like you when I was growing up in NW Illinois…we’d get a small tornado once every 5-10 years. Now, since I have moved down to St. Louis, and have seen the green clouds turning and churning over my house, I think I’ll stick to the basement. Down here, you mess with the big boys, and I’m not a fan (and either is my insurance carrier!) [=}=]

    Yeah! As long as they provided the vehicle. That kind of work tears ‘em up, and I’ve seen them about pounded flat from hail! I watch the sky all the time anyway. There’s nothing quite like standing in your driveway with a beer and a cig, looking at a big storm rolling in, and hearing the tornado sirens fire up!

    When you live in tornado alley you dont have to chase long unitl they start chaseing you, last month there was on day when we had 16 tornadoes in 3 hours all in the panhandle.
