Out in California the A-Zone Archery season starts in July and is done by the beginning of August. A cool day will have temps in the mid 80’s. Normally we are looking at mid to high 90’s. The century mark is not uncommon.
60′ or 70’s? Go hunting! Field dress the animal quickly and then get the body temp down. I normally have some frozen two litter bottles that I throw in a cooler. You can stuff them into the cavity of the animal when you get it back to the truck.
can’t kill something if you’re not in the woods……and the deer have to eat, drink, pee, and poop no matter how hot the weather…….. I’d be a little closer to water and shade though if it’s really hot……..but I’m not a professional hunter by no means, it’s JMHO
why flood an area with your sent, just to hunt wait 1 week, you will be better off. this is what I have found In my younger years I couldnt wait 4 opening day, only to see nothing, sweat and gat eaten alive by bugs, now I always wait for the third week of bow to start climbing trees, works wonders
