    Elk season is almost upon us … All my bows are tuned and ready to go, but which one is going to be the backup bow to the Monster?

    Walked out tonight at last legal light, shot two arrows at 30-sumptin’  with the Monster … both touching at 7 o’clock in the dot.

    Shot the Prestige, Z7 Mag, and the 1958 Kodiak Special … guess which bow won?

    I am so stoked … {#emotions_dlg.mathews_thumbs_up} … now all I need is a cooperating Elk.
    Good Luck to all in the field come this Saturday.{#emotions_dlg.mathews_thumbs_up}

    {#emotions_dlg.mathews_arrow}It’s all about having confidence in your setup it I can read it in your post. Good luck on your hunt and my guess is the Monster will not need a backup.

    Good luck this weekend.  Hope you get a shot at nice bull or at least get to enjoy gods creation.  I’m not going this year but some of my friends are headed west to the uncompahgre this week.  Looks like the elk are in trouble this year with any bow you choose to take this year.   Please take some pics.  I always enjoy your write ups from your hunting and fishing trips. {#emotions_dlg.mathews_thumbs_up}

    Bring raingear … it is thunder and lightening, sporadic torrential rains as I type. Rain forecast through opening weekend.
    Good Hunting {#emotions_dlg.mathews_thumbs_up}

    Brian, why  are you even stressing. lol. your rigs are always spot on, the only ones stressing should be the elk that’s down range
