I’d love to see the hefty lefty win it, but I don’t think he will.

    my pick too :thumbup[/quote:2j6tfdeu]

    Phil’s a big turd!! :^O

He plays so inconsistent, I don’t know how he can be in the running for the
number one golfer. Tiger has it all, the skill, and the mental game. And
the mental game is where he is far superior to the rest of the field! :D[/quote:2j6tfdeu]

Tiger has it all alright…even the crap attitude :thumbdown thinks he is better then everyone…(okay I know he is darn good) but I have seen Phil walk across the fairway to sign a kids golf ball while Tiger walks by with his nose in the air…Phils character is way better in my opinion then the holy one (Tiger)…Sorry Jeff just had to vent :D :D :D No offense please :hugs :hugs :hugs[/quote:2j6tfdeu]

I think Phil is the same way.. :whistle I know in golf, people think Phil
has one heck of an attitude! [=}=]

Even though he can’t spell “Patrick”, Harrington has to be considered among the favorites. But I voted Tiger.

    I am with you

I picked Sergio because I feel like it’s his time. Tiger won’t win this week, Augusta is starting to turn on him. He’s only won once in the last 7 tries at Augusta.

Think about what you just said… most golfers would make a career out of winning 2 majors… let alone going 2 for 7 at Agusta! He’s changed the way we look at golf![/quote:3udwvp9b]

You’re right about that. But golf is a fickle game. Just like yesterday when he was going to break 70 for the first time in the first round and bogeyed 17 and 18. He’s not putting well enough right now to win at Augusta IMO. Plus I like to see a little drama and diversity in who wins. Tigers a great player and will go down as the greatest player of his era. But someone will come along and break his records just like he did Jacks. I have no doubt that he will win a major this year, I just don’t think it’ll be this week. I honestly think he’ll repeat the US Open this year. It’s golf and hard to predict, he could blow the field away the rest of the tournament and it would surprise me.

Yeah, I’m sure Phil’s a great guy and he appears to be content. If I was out there, I’d sign em all cause I’d just be glad to be there. Tiger is not just glad to be there. He set out to break Nicklaus’ record and he won’t do it unless he’s focused. There’s a time and place for everything so don’t be hatin’. [=}=][/quote:37hnme85]

The one thing I don’t like about Tiger right now is the club throwing and temper he’s displaying. He almost hit Steve Williams with his club. I understand his frustration but if Phil started doing it or any other top player the media would crucify him.

Actually he had a par on 17 and bogeyed 18. The rest of the field knows he’s back there though and if he gets it going, he’ll be hard to beat even at 5 shots back. I wouldn’t mind seeing Furyk or Kenny Perry win it either though – 2 of the most unorthodox swings in the game today.

My favorite moment yesterday came from Nick Faldo, in the booth with Jim Nantz. Tiger hit his tee shot off a par 3 and some guy yells “Get in the hole!”. Faldo says “Oh please, not at Augusta.” I’m with you Nick! =D/>” title=”Applause” /> <img src="Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. Have you seen JM Singh swing? Talk about another weird swing. I’d like to see Chad hold on to the lead and win his first major.

You’re right about JM’s swing. He does pretty well with it though. It’s like he swings and then he’s like “oh yeah, I’m supposed to finish over here”. :^O

Should be an exciting final round today. Kenny Perry (US) and Angel Cabrera (ARG) will be in the final group. Neither of them were in my poll. Both Phil and Tiger are at -4 and 7 shots back with a lot of other guys like Furyk, Garcia and Campbell in between. If Cabrera wins it, they’re gonna need some extra green material to make a jacket – that’s a big man. There will be lots of fun at Amen Corner with some interesting pin placements today I’m sure. There will be some heartbreak there. ;)

God Bless and Happy Easter! He is risen. He is risen indeed! [=}=]

At this point, I gotta go with Furyk, of all of them near the top, I just think he’ll play the most consistant.

Man, I feel for Kenny Perry. Going to the 17th hole with a 2 shot lead, bogeying 17 and 18 before hitting 2 horrible shots in a playoff. There was some great golf before that though with Tiger and Phil making some great shots. That’s one of the best I’ve seen in a while. Hats off to Cabrera too. He had a tough stretch but picked his game up just in time to pull out the win. Great tournament! =D/>” title=”Applause” /> <img src="Tomorrow is the most important thing in life.
