Why doesn’t Mathews make a parallel-limb bow in the 35-36″ range? Basically, an LX with really[/i:17x5tcgf] parallel limbs. Or a Switchback stretched out?
Are there any plans to make one. ‘Cause if they did, I’d buy one quick-fast.
The Switchback and short axel parallel limb bows are awesome for hunting, but I’d like to see a 35″+ parallel limb bow geared for target shooting/hunting. A bow that shoots 300+ IBO, and smooth like the Switchback with the Cobra (or an even better) cam.
The only way this could be done is to lengthen the riser to get the ata to 35″. If they were to make it to 35 with the current riser it would no longer be parallel. If they make the riser any longer it would not be stiff enough or strong enough. At least that is the way I see it.
I’m 6′ 2″, so a 35-36″ ATA bow just feels right to me.
I mean, I love my BowTech Liberty, but it’s as short as I wanna go and it’s 33 1/4″ ATA! My XTEC, OTOH, just feels[/i:238og6gg] better at 35 1/2″.
Truth is I’d like to get a Mathews, but they just don’t make a bow that suits me. I guess there’s always ’07…
