I was wondering which is the better target bow overall. The conquest 4 or the conquest triumph or are they pretty much equal

Conquest Apex 7 & 8 should be right there with the others. I don’t own a target bow yet, but will someday.

Well I guess no one knows. Well at least there’s archery talk.

Why isn’t the Z7 Tactical not an option ?
More brace height then the conquest bows and more speed.

I own a apex 8 but thinking of buying an Z7 Tac. (My apex is 65% letoff…)

Your question is very subjective and an answer really has no bearing on how it would be for someone else.

And how many people do you think own or have owned both bows?

Yes there is always AT and you will get some good answers from the Hoyt and Bowtech boys over there. ;)

As you see below I can’t afford either.

Wouldn’t mind trying the Z9 if only it came in 65% let off. Never could get to grips with the Apex7 or Apex8 currently shooting a Triumph and a Switchback and getting best scores with the Switchback. The Switchback LD was a great bow indoors, but I couldn’t get sight marks for 90m and 100yds with it. The Z9 is a bit faster and I’m sure it would shoot just as smoothly as the LD and be really forgiving .

the conquest 4’s record speaks for itself although the triumph hasnt been out as long.

I shoot the Triumph for ASA shoots and am very satisfied with it. I also shoot a Z7 for IBO shoots where I can get more speed.

But, as said before, the question itself is too subjective. Its like the old ‘Ford vs Chevy’ debate.

I’ll tell you this, go out to some of the shoots, nationally or locally, and you’ll see new models and old, and many times you’ll see them both winning. Like many have said, ‘its not the bow as much as its the indian’
