-TomForrest Carter here. Ready to rock.Forrest do you still have Ricky on retainer for hooking us up with a great banner like he did for us last year??
If so then all we need to do is come up with a name.
Forrest Carter here. Ready to rock.
Shame you missed team 2 Forrest. Ya may of had a chance “Old Man”
Well, good luck anyhow.Ron /////// Archery and Fly fishing
Joined: 8/5/2008Scott from Missouri checking in. I haven’t found my target on camera yet but I do have most of November off this year and I’m ready for some tree time. Our season starts 9-152 Heritage Hawks, 2 Heritage Eagles, Heritage Longbow, 3 Custom PXT's, Conquest Triumph
I’m sure if I ask really nicely and offer a bribe we can work something out. He does some badA$$ work…Team name suggestions…
Herd Reduction Specialists
Just a few off the top of my head.Ricky does make some great banners for sure…I hope it doesn’t cost us too much!
The only suggestion I have for a name would be “Racks ‘R’ Us”…that’s all I got.
I would be fine with any of the others…I do think Bloody Messes sounds real good though.OK 4 check in’s… anybody else?
meanwhile other name suggestions?
Any plans? what ya’ll up too?
I will check back in later and share what’s up with me for 2014. Got work to do for now though. Born to hunt, forced to work.Yup still waiting for our last check in…I’m sure he will soon, maybe he is on vacation???
Sorry , I can’t think of anymore decent names…plus I’m still liking “Bloody Messes”, but I will honestly be fine with whatever we decide. We need to come up with a name so you can bother Ricky…
As far as my plans go I currently do not have any out of state hunts planned again this year…maybe next year.
Joined: 8/5/2008“Bloody Messes” Sounds good to me.
I will only be hunting Mo this year. Will have 2 buck tags and usually plan on a doe or two.2 Heritage Hawks, 2 Heritage Eagles, Heritage Longbow, 3 Custom PXT's, Conquest TriumphBloody messes it is then. I will contact Ricky and see if he will help us out again. You can see some of last years work of his in my current banner.
OK my season will consist of:
Idaho pronghorn currently open now and been out a few times until Sept.15th
Montana Pronghorn, Currently open and heading there this weekend.
Idaho archery and any weapon deer, this is the important one for the team. Opens Tomorrow but I will be in Montana after Antelope. Basically goes all the way through to December 19th, so I have a long time to try and get a buck.
Idaho extra doe tag, same dates. I am almost always good for at least 5 points for a team. (nock on wood)
Idaho elk, bear and wolf all run the same dates. Usually I focus on elk through September but if I get a chance at a buck I won’t Hesitate.
Montana elk tag in pocket also.
I have a Missouri deer hunt tentatively scheduled for November also.
Plus… My 10 year old son can now hunt with me for deer and has his licenses and tag so I will be working with him also.
Bottom line, it’s going to be a really busy fall for me.Ok Bloody Messes sounds good. Thanks for reaching out to Ricky. I will send Vince a PM to let him know of our name choice.
Forrest, you sure do have a busy fall ahead of you…good luck.
I’m sure a few critters will be hitting the dirt.Well team, It isn’t a deer and no good for points, but here is 1st blood for me for the year. A spot and stalk Idaho bear. Stalked, shot, trailed, skinned and packed out 2 miles all by myself. Still going to focus on elk for now, but will be after does here meanwhile or if a suicidal buck happens by…
