Looks like I’m the first to check in. My name is Gary, I am from southern Indiana. I am looking forward to trying to bring some points to the team this year for sure. My trail cam is down, but I have been talking to the farmer I hunt on, and he has been seeing some great bucks this year, I will be going down to check with him weekly to see where he is seeing them. He is better than a trail cam anyway.

Hi, Gary and the rest of the team. My name is Matt and I am located in Northern Michigan.  I am very excited for this year because I have a new hunting lease that I believe will produce points for our team. This land has been land locked for years, but the state sold the owner the adjacent land allowing access. I have had two cameras out for one week and unfortunately I have several bears that are that enjoy posing for my cameras. I also hunt late season in the upper peninsula, but haven’t been up there yet to check my cameras. I have never been in this contest before and I’m not too sure how everything works, but I will give it best to be a team contributor.

Hi Guys – my name is Ron and I live in Western Wisconsin.  I was also lucky enough to be on the winning team last year so I hope we can do well again this year.  I hunt on family land about an hour from my home.  I have a few cams out but haven’t checked them in the last month or so.

I will be going to check the junk trail cam this weekend, as well as talking to the farmer. He sent me a message the other night that he thinks he may have seen the one I am after in a different place? Anyone have any ideas for a team name? Still looking for the other members to check in.

Hey guys, Eric checking in here. Southwest Wisconsin. I hunt on family land but also have the opportunity to travel up to buffalo co this fall a couple of time. I am greatly looking forward this.  I have cameras up but have yet to check them.  I will try to get out and check them this weekend. I am open to anything for a team name.  Good luck and I hope to be a contributor to the team!

When we come up with a name, are any of you guys good with a computer that could make a banner?

Here is an idea for a team name, TEAM 6 FEET UP, (as in 6 feet up the the meat pole)? Not gonna hurt my feelings at all for a different one though. Any other ideas?

6 feet up sounds good to me.  I was able to check my cameras this weekend , but  unfortunately  I have  nothing  worth showing yet.

This is the only one on camera so far, I will be saving him for next year though (at least that is the plan right now)! Farmer took me to where he has seen a couple of bruisers so I will be setting stands there next week.

Hi fellows! Season in Indiana opens tomorrow (Oct. 1st)! My son is getting married on the 10th, so after all of that is over I will begin hunting as much as I can. We aren’t a very lively bunch are we lol!!! We still have one that hasn’t checked in yet, looks like we will have a handicap from the start. Good luck guys, stay safe in the woods this year!!!

Hey guys. Our season starts tomorrow also. I only have some small bucks on camera so far in mid Michigan where live. So I’m going to the U. P. for a 10 day hunt starting Friday.  Good luck and be safe guys. I will check back in when I return.

hey guys, just checking in to see how everyone is doing so far! I stuck a doe last Thursday and will send pics in to get us on the board.  I have only been out a couple times but I am hearing that the smaller bucks are starting to move so it is only going to get better from here.  Good luck boys!

Congrats Eric, someone finally got us on the board! I have been out 4 times so far. I got a shot at a doe, but she move right at the shot so I hit her too far back, I couldn’t find her. Going out tonight, so hopefully I will get us more points soon.

Great Job Eric!  Glad to hear you were able to break the ice.  I got out Sunday morning for the first time.  I saw a small fork at about 50 yards and that was it.  I hope to get out a couple of morning later this week.

Nice work Eric! I have only sat three times and have seen bucks each time, but I’m holding out for a mature deer. I am back on vacation on Thursday for 10 days and plan on hunting every day the wind/weather permit. The hunting is just starting to heat up here. I have a lot of young bucks in my area and they have been putting on a show. I can’t wait to see what full rut will bring.  We have cold weather coming in and this week and this weekend is looking  like some beautiful hunting weather. Hopefully I will have something to bring to the table soon. Good luck guys and as always be safe.
