    Q2hunter,
I’m thinking Virgina is not to far of a drive from Tennessee if you need help. :D
Some VERY nice deer right there no matter where you live. Good luck this year. :thumbup

LOL….dont know what part of “west” tennessee you are from, but if its nashville or further…..you’re a pretty good ways. I go to nashville every year on our way to southern Illinois. Nashville is 6hrs from me. Tennessee is a long state east to west, and well over half my travel distance from here to Southern Illinois is in that state. One thing about it though, its easy to navigate. I hit interstate 81 about 30 minutes from my house, and 81 merges with I40 just outside of sevierville, tn. I set the cruise when I hit 81 and for the next 6hrs its just riding and listening to the radio until I get to nashville, then its exit on to I24, fight some traffic until out of nashville, and then its smooth sailing again until I cross the Ohio river at Paducah Ky. :thumbup

I have to say, i wish south georgia had bucks like that q2, nice. Guys i have 200 hours of leave i have to use by the end of the year or i lose it. Called Use or Lose. I took of dam near the month of sept to hit the bow season hard. Going to hunt on Fort Stewart Land, great deer and hog population and also on the rivers here by boat, i try to get in on the rivers end of the land, untouched areas. I just want you to know i am and will hunt hard, long and dedicated to the archery season.[/quote:1t85q71a]

I will not say I’m 100% archery, as I shot one last year with a muzzle loader, but that was the first firearms deer in 5 years for me. We have 5 weeks of early bow season here, before the muzzle loader and rifle seasons take over for practically the entire month of November. However, I’m outta here on Nov 2nd through the 11th for Illinois to bow hunt. When I get back, I spend the rest of Nov taking my kids and wife gun hunting, and maybe squeezing in a hunt or two with my dad for tradition. Then, December is back to late season bow hunting. Late season is pretty tough around here, not like you see on tv in the midwest. Anyway, I’m good for a doe, and knock on wood, have been successful on at least one nice archery buck for 11 consecutive years :thumbup

I PM’d VAZ7HUNTER on Monday. Haven’t heard back from him. Maybe he will check in shortly. I’ve never spoken to him or anything so I dont know him or anything about him other than he is also from Virginia. Ya never know, we’ll have fun either way :thumbup

I dont know how to make a banner or anything. I love watching Tim Wells RELENTLESS PURSUIT show, he’s a nut! We could be THE RELENTLESS PURSUERS. Name doesn’t matter to me, just throwing something out there.
