I saw we posted a team name and I would have voted yes too. Sounds good!

Tweaked my left shoulder a week or so ago so I am taking it easy for a week or two. Full Draw is a bit painfull right now but it will definately not keep me out of the woods when the season starts in a few weeks (Sept 29).

Been out twice now, and have passed on a few “not slam dunk” shots at doe. There are tons in my area so I can hold out for the perfect shot. Right now it’s an early anterless season, regular season opens oct 1st.

Well guys I should have had a 5 more points this morning . Really aggravated. I showed great, great patience with two does who had me pinned down. The came in from above me about 20 feet up the hill, which was also downwind from me. They kept smelling something they weren’t sure about but not enough to spook them off. Just enough to keep them eye level with me for about 20 minutes. One seeme to eat acorns while the other looked at me in the tree. Then it’s almost like they would take turns. One would watch me while the other ate. Finally they both looked the other way at the same time so I stood up because they were on my week side. Then they were on me again. I stood there abou another 5 minutes perfectly still. They were more than curious but again not scared enough to run off. Finally they both stuck their head down and away at the same time and I got to draw. I shot at the doe as she was slightly and I mean ever so slightly quarter away. The arrow looked to hit the crease right where I was aiming. I was so excited. It looked a tad low but still good enough. Anyway to make a long story short it must have been lower than I thought or she must have been quartered more than I thought. I must have went under the vitals or in front of them . I waited an hour before I got down and then tracked for 3 hours before it stared to pour the rain. Blood started out great then ended spotty I lost blood about 20 minutes before the downpour. I keep replaying it in my head and keep seeing that arrow go in the crease. Just a little note the arrow did not pass through. I found the back eight inches of it that was sticking out as she ran off. I went about 250 yards before losing her and than the rain started. I still thank God for a great morning but I can’t stand wounding a deer ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)
