Im still in… I will be hunting the next 4 weeks. This weekend its doe only, so I might just get that out of the way. That way it gives me 4 weeks for Buck hunting. Hope to give us 5pts. this weekend.

took another doe yesterday. I was going to shoot a buck we call no brows but he was a little to far out. We want him out of the heard because he is already spreading his no brow tine genes around. Plus now that gun season just ended we always end up with a couple new bucks on the property sine we only bowhunt it. Hoping to post more points soon.

Sorry for my absence guys. I’m just updating you guys on what’s been going on. I have been bogged down with nursing finals and college work the last few weeks, but it’s all over!! I’ll be hitting the woods from now till mid-January when I start up again. I didn’t have to much luck during the rut. I saw a monster 10 pt and a nice 8 pt but they were following a doe that wouldn’t come close . Story of my life, but my friend and the guys that hunt his farm have been putting the smack down on the bucks over the last two days. I’m praying the deer gods are gonna be in my favor this year like they were last year. Congrats to everyone on their kills!! Good Luck to everyone still trying to fill your tags. I’ll keep you guys updated!

Hope you did well with finals. My daughter leaves for the national guard Jan 9th she is going to be a field medic and then get her nursing certificate when she is done with training. I had my vacation canceled due to the storms this year. Been getting out sporadically. I’m hoping to hit it hard after the new year. Most of my target bucks are still alive.

As for me, I was officially done as of Thursday. Season closed for the year, and for the 1st year in a long time, no antlerless. No doe for me this year. Had a ball though and glad to have participated with you all this year.

I have 8 points coming for the team. I shot a 3 point last night. His hip must have been broken. His leg was dragging and he could not move more than a few steps at a time. Permit season ends this week so I put him out of his misery. I will be looking to upgrade during our winter archery season that starts Jan 1st.

Hope everybody has a great holiday and is looking forward to the new year. I was able to harvest another big doe with my new muzzleloader that dad bought me for xmas. I still have a few bow tags left for deer and turkeys so I’m going to make a few more sits over the next few weekends and see if I can get atleast one more gritter down.After that it’s time to start chasing the bass and crappie! Good luck team on the the last part of the season!

Team 13 it was a pleasure competing with you all. I lets stay in touch even though we probably will not be on the same team next season. I still have one more week left in our season. Unless its a big doe for the freezer all bucks get a pass till next year
