    Pat,
    Sounds like you have them located. Hopefully still around when season opens so you can get one on the ground.
    Season opens here in 11 days but won’t be able to make it into the woods until Oct. 5th.
    We got all of our food plots planted last weekend. Sat in stand for 2 hours hoping to see the hogs again but only seen a few squirrels.
    Looks like we are going to get some much needed rain this evening and tomorrow morning. Hope to get into woods Sunday and get a few more stands put up and get cameras back out and running.

    Getting another round of much needed rainfall today. Hopefully food plots will be up good by this weekend.
    Season opens in 7 days. Got to get a few more stands put up this weekend and will be ready to go for next weekend.

    Rain is good Scott. My season opens this Saturday and we have rain with high temps in the mid 40`s forecasted. Plan on spending the whole day in a tree{#emotions_dlg.mathews_thumbs_up}

    Pat, checking to see how your opening weekend went. I got 3 stands put up this weekend. Had a close call with strap breaking on safety vest while hanging a lock on. Guess luck was on my side. 2 days till season opens

    Well, season opened on Tuesday and I have been stuck at work all week.
    Taking off tomorrow and will be in stand in the morning. Have a decent chance off rain all weekend so not sure how much I will be able to hunt depending on what the tropical storm in the gulf does and how much rain we get.
    Good luck to all and stay safe…

    I got out last Saturday and spent the whole day in the woods. Had a couple slick heads come in at 5 yards. Seen a few small bucks but I am going to wait a bit to see if I can connect on one of the bigger ones. Raining hard here now and suppose to turn to snow during the night. There are forecasting up to 24 inches of snow with winds 35 to 55 and gusts to 70 tomorrow. Could be an interesting day.

    Scott best to not check the hanging weight of your safety vest!

    Snow will make it easy to track, but not sure I want to be in a tree with the wind. Not even sure I could get to the tree!{#emotions_dlg.mathews_shocked}

    Well, they screwed up on our forecast. {#emotions_dlg.mathews_rolling_eyes}They said we could get between 12 and 24 inches of snow. We have received over 2 feet of snow in the last 8 hours and it is still snowing hard. {#emotions_dlg.mathews_brick_wall}They say it is supposed to pick up this afternoon and snow at least another foot. Not sure how it can pick up from snowing three inches an hour so this should be interesting. Oh Yah, they are still forecasting 70 mph wind gusts for this afternoon also. YIPPEE!! {#emotions_dlg.mathews_censored}Trees are down all over already and power is on and off. I told my wife that I was thinking about going out to the tree stand. (not even sure if the tree is still there) She failed to see the humor in that!{#emotions_dlg.typotux (19)}

    Man, couldn’t imagine 2-3 feet if snow. Hope you don’t loose your power. I hunted yesterday and only seen 1 small spike in the morning. Back in stand this morning fighting mosquitoes already. Ready for temps to cool off some here for sure.

    We ended getting about 3 1/2 feet of snow where I live. Don’t need to worry about Mosquitos here anymore.

    That’s a lot of snow…
    Didn’t see a deer all day. Buddy shot a doe this morning and we spent over an hour looking till blood trail ended.
    Got food plots fertilized during mid day before the rain moves in tomorrow with cold front, then hopefully cooler temps next weekend
