Some familiar names here… I don’t think I’ve been on the same team as any of you guys.. but I look forward to meeting each of you.

I’m Reggie,  I’ve been a member here for quite a few years.
I hunt primarily in Louisiana and generally hunt from Mid September to Mid February.
I am on a lease near my house and I hunt quite a bit of public land also.
I’ll probably be in the woods 35-40 days this year.
Hopefully that will translate to some points for the team.

Well nice to meet you Reggie ,  I’m Isaac I’ve been here for 5 years and have been in the contest every year.
Been on one winning team, and hoping this 2014/15 team is ready to bring home a trophy this season.

About myself still celebrating the birth of my first son,  I hunt a  small family farm in Missouri, and a large lease in North MO.
With all the busyness of my little guy getting here I did manage to get my 2 fall food plots in which are getting some get rains this past two weeks.
Excited about that because not sure how much time I’ll be able to travel this year.
……..Anyways can’t to meet you all,

    Hey Guys,

Looking forward to a great deer season this year.  Last year was tough, as I tagged a doe early season then didn’t get any other archery deer until the middle of January in MD.  Did tag a muzzleloader buck in RI though, but while not contest worthy it did make some awesome sausage – Mmmmm.

This year I am hunting CO for mule deer and elk with my bow in September, whitetails in MD from October to January, and should also get some archery and gun hunting time in RI again for whitetails.  Hopefully the deer cooperate a bit better this season.  I should get at least 30-40 days deer hunting, so fully expect to contribute doe points – and with 3 states to hunt this year a buck is likely too.

I can’t wait for the season to start and I’ll get at lest a few hours in each day after work and full days on weekends as soon as the weather cools.

Glad to meet you guys… I think we are just waiting on Bloodtrails to check in.

    Update on my hunting:
I’m getting some pretty regular daylight pictures at one of my stands so that’s a good sign… Nothing magnificent… just a few does every day.
I did have a young 6 point come by the other day but it was only 1 time so he isn’t a regular.

My season opener is September 20… maybe I can put some early points on the board for us.

I changed my plans this year to include a trip up to Wisconsin the first week of November.
Going to be hunting with a buddy that is on Team 9… his screen name is tij.

Any other thoughts on a Team name?  Once we come up with it, does anyone know how to make banners?

    Looks like an excellent team!
My team won my first year on this forum, way back in 2006.  Been too long… Let’s put the smack down on a pile of deer this year!

My Colorado hunt should start around the 11th of September. Hope to put some mule deer point up shortly after that.

And Reggie, I’m still using my Switchback XT too. What a sweet bow!

So Sorry John… I totally missed your first post when I was scrolling through for everyone that checked in… my bad.
Where do you hunt at in Texas?  I have a friend that hunts just south of Refugio.  I go down there sometimes but I don’t get to shoot any deer… they are a little pricey for my checking account… haha.  I mainly hunt hogs, quail, rabbits, and 12oz. cans from the ice chest.

So I guess Horn Stars seems to be popular… Do we need an official vote?  Can anyone make us a banner?

We have a pretty nice lineup going…

    Arne – Past Winner
    Reggoh – Past Winner (2007)
    Ikedogg – Past Winner
Bow4Life – I think you won a couple years ago?
bloodtrails – Hunts in Texas… where there are deer behind every mesquite tree ;)

I’d say we have a pretty decent team.. I may be the weakest link… haha

Weakest link!!!  You’re hunting premier Wisconsin whitetail territory during the rut.  I’m not sure it gets better than that…maybe Iowa.
